Estafette: Cinematic revisioning of symbiotic intentions.

We are looking for partners for a Horizon Mission Pilot (HM1) building on our project ESTAFETTE. We explore 'unstable grounds' through artistic research, specifically focusing on how film and Lo-TEK craft can transform institutionalized infrastructure into metabolic 'landscapes of care’. We need 2 FilmEU partners to bridge the local and planetary scales. 

ESTAFETTE addresses Mission 1 by redefining climate adaptation as a socio-cultural transformation. Our artistic research – i.e. cinematic envisionsing – aims to transform a rigid, defensive building culture towards an adaptive ‘living with nature’ perspective. Bio-based materiality and resilient narratives empower communities to navigate unstable landscapes.

We propose a decentralized leadership model where an international partner, can also take part as a lead researcher. This shift is a deliberate act of care. It ensures our governance reflects our ecological mission by dismantling traditional hierarchies. This metabolic management style treats leadership as a shared "Commoning" practice. It replaces rigid control with the adaptive framework essential for the Symbiocene.
