Born in Donetsk, Ukraine in 1991.
In 2013, I received my B.A. as a TV & Film director, and released two short
films which traveled internationally.
In 2019, I graduated from Kino Eyes M.A. program with the degree in Film
Directing and a short film Charcoal (2020). Proceeded with a feature
documentary Dogs Don`t Bite Good People (2022).
In July 2024, I got my PhD degree in Media Art at Lusófona University,
Lisbon. My field of research is hybrid documentary and artistic
reenactment as a cinematic method.
I am interested in exploring the dynamic and transformative nature of
memory, while combining fictional and documentary approaches,
exploring cinematic, theatrical and digital aesthetics inherent to
contemporary hybrid film.
